On April 9, the University celebrated the official dedication of its new Frick Chemistry Laboratory.
The dedication was held in Taylor Commons, named after the A. Barton Hepburn Professor of Organic Chemistry Emeritus, Edward C. Taylor. Taylor’s research, in collaboration with Eli Lilly and Company, led to the development of the anti-cancer drug Alimta, and royalties from the drug's patent helped support the building's construction.
