Baja California: Among the Great Whales aboard National Geographic Venture

About the Study Leader

The academic portion of this journey will be led by an expert team of National Geographic-Lindblad Expeditions’ naturalists.

About the Journey

Set out in search of dolphins, sea lions, and whales along the Baja California peninsula in northwestern Mexico. Board small boats and enter pristine lagoons for up-close encounters with California gray whale mothers and their newborn calves. Snorkel the pristine coral reefs of Cabo Pulmo National Marine Park and, conditions permitting, amid playful sea lions in Los Islotes. Witness an undersea wonderland, serene desert dunes, and the most beautiful sunsets on Earth. Aboard the 50-cabin National Geographic Venture, every day is different and rewarding, with opportunities to indulge in active or relaxing pursuits. You’ll learn, explore, and make the most of the adventure with a team of expert naturalists, including a photo instructor and undersea specialist.
