John Mack’s career in college athletics began at his alma mater, where he served as assistant director of intercollegiate programming, responsible for coordinating facility use and competition schedules for all Princeton varsity programs as well as event operations for home contests. In 2004, he moved to the Big Ten Conference, where he served as associate director of championships and was heavily involved in the site selection, budget management and event oversight for the conference’s 23 annual championships. From 2006 to 2011, he worked at Northwestern University, where he was senior associate director of athletics for sales and marketing, overseeing the development and implementation of marketing plans for all 19 varsity programs. After graduating from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law with cum laude honors in 2014, Mack spent years as a practicing attorney in Michigan, with a focus on complex commercial litigation and products liability cases.
