In 2004, he moved to the Big Ten Conference, where he served as associate director of championships and was heavily involved in the site selection, budget management and event oversight for the conference’s 23 annual championships. From 2006 to 2011, he worked at Northwestern University, where he was senior associate director of athletics for sales and marketing, overseeing the development and implementation of marketing plans for all 19 varsity programs.
